Course Description
Do you wish the reports you receive from QuickBooks or your CPA were more than just numbers and words. Would you like to truly understand how the three critical business financial statements are created, how to analyze them, and use the information to make better business decisions. This class is designed to help managers understand and utilize the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows to improve their business decision making. Participants will gain a better understanding of both how the statements were calculated and the best practices for using the reports to become a better financial manager.Course Outline

Learner Outcomes
1) Participants will understand the fundamental accounting concepts, such as the difference in revenue and cash flow, that are used to generate the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows2) Participants will have a better understanding of how to analyze the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows to determine the financial position of a business
3) Participants will be exposed to best practices in analyzing the three statements to make business decisions
4) Participates will be instructed in the interactions of the three statements for complex analysis to include ratio analysis
